    BB Powerstation for Tour

If anyone hears when BlackBerry is coming out with a Powerstation (the one with a charging cradle for the BB, a charger for the bluetooth and a charger for a spare battery), please let everyone know. It was the best accessory I had for my Curve and I really want one for my Tour. Thanks!

I had considered one of these for my curve and never picked one up. What would your review? I am still thinking about it.

It is great. The Powerstation will charge not only the BB, but a spare battery and bluetooth all at the same time. It has a cradle, so you can see the screen at all times. Simply, it was the best accessory I bought for my Curve and I will certainly buy obe for my Tour as soon as it is available.

Thanks for the info. I may have to get one for my Curve and then another when I get the Tour.

I was looking on RIM' site and it looks like they made an Powerstation Cradle for the Bold, hopefully they will do the same for the Tour. It is only $10 and would work with your current powerstation...keep an eye on their site for it.

Right, but he already has the power station, so just waiting for the new cradle that clips onto it, just like the one I linked for the Bold. You just remove the old cradle from that Powerstation and clip on the new one. Just have to wait and see if they actually make one...I don't see one for the 8900 yet either....

The battery for the Tour is larger than the one for the Curve and won't fit in the spare battery chamber of the Curve's Powerstation. So I will need to buy a Tour specific Powerstation not just the cradle.

IDK about that...the one for the Bold says it fits with any Powerstation Base, so if you originally had one for a Pearl, you just detach the old piece that held your Pearl from the Powerstation base and replace it with the new one for the Bold. But I think it may be a mute point since they never made one for the 8900....maybe they are discontinuing.
