    Review: WeatherBug Mobile for BlackBerry

Verdict: Small App for tracking weather
Pros: Doesn't take much space on your BlackBerry
Cons: Entering your Zip Code is a bit tricky-may be only part of the full version.
    URL: http://www.weatherbug.com/mobile/blackberry/
    Price: $11.99 USD
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5

If any of you need weather information on your BlackBerry to plan your day, this might be just what you need.

When you first open the application, you are prompted to either continue using the free 3-day trial or activate the full version using your registration key received during purchase of the full version. You also have the option to use any saved locations you may have.

I have included the web link and extra pictures so you can see what the application actually looks like in use. I am not able to get past the zip code page due to not having the full version (I think).

Overall, this seems like it is a very useful application from the pictures I saw online.

I just d/l this last night. After using the app for 30 min, I bought it. Its very useful, and better than any of the rss feeds I've found. It works out to be $4 a month, but I really do like it. It even has current radar, so you can see storms tracking. Good app overall. Just my $.02.

No. I went to their website to look into the Weather SMS alerts for inclement weather, and it shows that they sell it exclusively through Handango. Sorry!!!!

It's a nice little app. Considered buying it, but haven't decided. A lot of what you get in the app you can get via thier website, and there are other weather websites that I get info from. I get email and text weather alrets from local stations, so I am not sure if it is worth the $$. My biggest problem, I had to tell the radar to update. Sevral hours might have passed and I still had the old radar. I thought it should update on its own when I bring it back up, not the last one I loaded.

FYI - $11.99 is only a quartly subscription. When I tried it I thought it was $40 ish for a year. Would be a little more comfortable if it was a one time fee.

Is there a weather app for BB that isn't limited to US weather only?

Metric details for Canada would be awesome!

You might want to try Journal Bar. It does world wide cities, and does Metric for International. Does the radar / and Infrared for Canada too! It also has news and stocks in it.

    I found it on Handango.
