Update, now that the application appears to be working in the application switcher, SnapScreen now works in all 3rd party applications! Woot Woot!

    Not all---doesn't work on

    Monopoly
    Google Maps
    JiveTalk
Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

I never had trouble with google maps before today which makes me wonder if it"s something on their end. I let virtual reach know and they will get back to me.

The issues I had this morning with google maps were sometimes it did nothing, or sometimes it gave a blank screenshot....it did this using either the application switcher or convenience key. But sometimes if i tried it a couple times it would work. Also I temporarily disabled the my location feature, closed google maps, opened it again and then it worked fine, so maybe it's a conflict with the my location feature.....we'll see. Are you having the same issues as me?

I don't have jivetalk or monopoly so I can't test those but I passed the info on to virtual reach and we'll see what they say.

Not at, the moment, but no update can ever make it work on an OS lower than 4.3. The capabilities are only built into OS 4.3 and higher. It works great on my 8130, and I know some of the people running the 4.5 betas are using it. So, for most BB users, we're just waiting for the coveted realease of 4.5.......come on RIM!!!!

It is a great app, I love to use it while beta testing new applications.......that way you can get quick screen shots of strange behaviors and error messages to send to the developers. It's also great for storing map images if you're heading into an area where you know your cell coverage will be poor.

It is most handy and usable if it's set to a convenience key since it won't appear in the menus of 3rd party apps, but some people don't like tying up a convenience key with it.....and there are still a few games and several Yahoo! applications that it won't work with currently...but the developer will be working on that in the future......right now they're up to something else very cool......
