Re: Review: Pocket Day for Blackberry

I had it with my BB 7290 before, I liked it then.
I've recently upgraded to BB 8700g.
It's just that if you have BB 8700 Dimension-Today theme unlocked, you might not want to switch back to Pocket Day. Sorry, Pocket Day owners..., but I used to be one of them.
Of course, PD has more to show than the Today theme.
But I'd go with the Today screen that looks a lot prettier than PD by far. Plus you can change the background image anytime you feel like it.
And as for weather update... You have to click the wheel a few times, but I find the Handango in hand application very handy.
I had to pay for the Pocket Day application thus I'd like to utilize it if I can.
But I just simply like the BB Dimension-Today screen better when it comes to using it on 8700 models.

I have PD on my 8700c and Pocket Express. I thought they would be redundant but they aren't..... There is overlap with Berry411, which is free (I know that free is great), but Pocket Express does a really nice job with stocks and managed portfolios. I believe to get the full package it is $6.99/month. I know that is steep but it's a really nice app. and really does do a much better job than Berry411. Just a thought on the live stocks & financial management.
