    Review Of Weather Eye

Weather Eye, an application that (well it) keeps a close eye on the weather. You can set up weather updates for just about any major city, country, etc. It'll even update the weather on you bb homescreen (as seen below)

When you open up the application you can see current weather patterns. You can pull up short term forecast for the rest of the day

or you can pull up a full 5 day forecast (nice weather in my town for the next week)

this is another must have to keep you update on current weather in your area. works on 8100, 8300, 8800, 8200 devices. I'm sure it'll work on the storm and the bold. you can download this awesome application over the air for free at http://weyebb.pelmorex.com/BlackBerry/

No my issue is cities that it supports more than connections. Have you checked your permissions to be sure you are allowing it to connect?

I've had this app for a while - really great! I am surprised that the 30 min. frequent updates of weather do not drain the battery. Of course I could change the time fram for updates, but I like the most accurate and up to date Thanks for making this app visible to so many people! Good job!

I was surprised about the updates not draining the battery life. I think this is a great app. I'm sorry to those whose city isn't on here. Just keep checking. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Have you guys tried weatherbug direct? It updates every 10 minutes and has severe weather alerts. Really its pretty cool. Just another option for guys like me who can't use weather eye. Again Johnny thanks for a great review.

I've had this app on my Pearl for almost a year now and it's great.

The only problem I've had with it is sometimes it can't connect. The only fix I have found is the dreaded battery pull. Fixes it every time though.
If I wasn't crazy, I would go insane.

One thing that wasn't mentioned in the review. If you highlight the Weather Network logo in the top left corner and click on it, you will see more info about the current conditions. Such as the wind speed, humidity, local sunrise and sunset time... Just in case you need to know what time the sun rises.
