Well how about an official unofficial option, berrystore! Berrystore is still in beta but such a great tool, access to applications (free and trial apps). Also, the store grows and grows in apps offered by you the user. If you have an application that you use and not listed on here email the developers. Berrystore is broken down into categories, once opened; you can see what applications are listed in that category. You can install the application, read reviews, or write a review about the application you have downloaded and tried.

I can't get it to run on my Bold. I get an error:

"Couldn't get version: com.facebook.thrift.transport.TTransportException: Cannot read. Remote side has closed. Tried to read 4 bytes, but only got 0 bytes."

Anyone got any pointers?
