REVIEW: Barely There from Case-Mate
I've owned several different cases from Case-Mate, starting with the Signature Leather Case (with PinStack logo ). Over the years, I have narrowed my "preference" for cases down to a few (not to mention the wasted money on cases I've bought but never really used). My first preference is that there is no built in screenguard, i.e. plastic cover. This tends to stick to the screen in places and the glare usually makes it difficult to see the screen. My second preference is the thickness. Since I usually carry my devices in my pocket, I don't need any added bulk to the already larger than normal 'phone'.
When I bought my storm, for the first few days I used the leather case that came with my bold. To make a long story short, the lock/sleep button on top of my storm doesn't work. The leather case, however, was a little too big and the device moved around (not to mention the corners were left unprotected). I bought a rubber skin from the local Verizon store and figured I'd use it with the bold case. While the fit was somewhat snug, it became annoying very quickly to have to sort of pry the device out because the rubber was so sticky (for lack of a better word). I didn't really want one of those hard plastic snap on cases. I remembered I had done this post on a new case that Case-Mate had launched and the rest is history ..
As you can see from the image -->, the case is super thin, adding next to nothing to the size of the case. It snaps on very easily, but doesn't snap OFF so easily. This will end up being my only con/gripe with this case. The ability or ease of removing the case (and we all know how often battery pulls are necessary for BlackBerry devices) isn't so easy. I still have yet to master the process, but guess I will figure out my own way in time. Luckily, the reset/reboot doesn't happen very often. Now, with backside protection and a super slim design, my storm fits inside the bold leather case, utilizing the magnet sleep function and I am a VERY happy camper!
Pros: Slim design, 4 colors to choose from, good protection
Cons: Hard to remove, wish material was a bit more "tacky"
Additional information: Comes with screenguard, now available for the Bold

Looks good! In the first pic, it looked like your bezel was lime green!

Thanks for the review. Wanted to get this case, but went with Casemate's Smart skin, because it covers the keys and the top. Dust can not get in period!
Thanks, great review, going to look and see what all they have for my phone
It takes many professionals versed in many different area's to help the masses, I am just a single drop in that pool.

I actually have one of these (silver) but it is almost impossible to adjust the "click" of the screen with the business card cut outs on the battery. For some reason this case changes everything about the click. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
This is really going to keep me from using this case... no doubt
