How do you change the color of your led coverage indicator? I know there is more than one led color up there but how do you change it from the default green?

you can change it, but it's not for the coverage indicator.

On Handango theres a program called blackberry Alerts, it allows you to change the LEDS to alert you if you get different messages. i.e. email, text, etc. It costs money though

Ahhh. So do you think that'd have any impact on battery life depending on the color you set it to? I'm kindof referring to what some people posted earlier about how much setting the pearl to another color can affect the battery.

Only if it is set to stay on would it impact battery life. Otherwise no, I would not think so.

How do you cycle color ball every one second? I can only cycle it every 15 seconds...

Nevermind I figure it out, it says cycle, and you just have to set it to cycle instead of random.

Re: ColorPearl and Color Ball: A review

A bit late, but I have a question.

I have AT&T, not T-Mobile, so how would I go about getting the colorpearl.asx file to work?

I've DL'd the file & when I try to add it this is my error message:
"No additional applications designed for your device were found."

So where does that leave me??

Also, I'd like to know more about the LED changing colors.

Right now it's set to the standard green flashing when I have signal & no messages/VM's red flashing when a VM has been received.

Is there a way to make it flash a different color if a call comes in but no VM is left so I can at least see that I missed a call w/out going over the phone & pressing a key & illuminating the screen?

    Thanks.

hi yeaitsjakester, there are programs out there to change that led light. BB alerts, blinkberry, etc.. Welcome to the Stacks. Post back with any questions.
