    hello
    when i go to network and look at connection preferences i get
    only wan
    or prefered wan
    or only gan
    or prefered gan
    with who i have to choose if i want to consume less data traffic
    please help

    Neither is really going to consume less traffic. GAN (Generic Access Network) is more or less UMA. Unless your carrier supports UMA, it's not really beneficial to you although it would probably still allow you to browse the internet, you wouldn't get the free calling on the UMA signal. I'd leave the setting on 'WAN Preferred'.

    The connection method itself does not consume data. The applications you use and browsing the web consume data. Those are just two methods by which to connect to the BIS server. As far as the carrier, I'd call and ask if they support UMA.
