    1. I own a Blackberry 8830, Blackberry 8330, and HTC-6800
    2. Blackberry Messenger, SMS, MMS, and Web Browser
    3. A good looking UI, MMS (THANK YOU SPRINT!), I love the multi message SMS on the HTC-6800 (Mogul/Titan), the ability to stream music/video, web browser, copy/paste, A2DP how Blackberry uses it.. WinMo loves to eat up both the phone and headset battery, and a over all wow factor.
    4. My top three pics would be The Blackberry 95xx, Palm Pre, Nokia 5800 NAM.
    5. The OS not the most important. As long as it work, has a good UI, works well with the hardware, and supports what all of the phones today have, I'm good. I do believe WinMo even 6.5 (running on Mogul/Titan) needs ALOT of work. Some of the new features are a huge improvement, I don't want to use a stylus.

    1) pearl 8130, storm 9530
    2) bbm, slacker radio, browser, soft reset.
    3) reliable os, full voice to text, high quality browser, full unlocked use of the phone
    4) curve 2 8900, htc touch hd, bold 9000
    5) yes. Os is the whole aspect of the phone. They need to be made for that phone not just a os of another phone adapted to that phone but their own os.

Here goes - - I have Bold, iPhone 3G, and HTC HD.
I use extensively - Docs to Go/Office Docs, EMail, IM and WEB
I need memory, memory. More memory - That I get from HTC HD - pity about Bold OS not permiting it
    + I need easy functions - Thank-God for Bold.
I need entertainment on the week-end - Thank-God for iPhone.
THE OS is the most important - for ease of use and utilty - Here the Bold, except for memory capacity, reigns supreme.
    That's it Hayden.

    1. 9530 - Storm
    2. E-Mail, SMS, Web Browsing, Weatherbug
    3. E-Mail, SMS, 3rd party app abilities
    4. Storm, Bold, HTC Fuze
    5. I agree that it is important along with the hardware itself - With a glitchy OS that freezes, re-starts the device, etc., you'll be left with an awesome looking paper weight that offers little functionality and is the source of many headaches.

    1. Blackberry 8900, blackberry 8310, broken iPhone
    2. I use the browser the most followed by email.
    3. Blackberry 8900. Perfect for my needs.
    4. Agree. A stable os forms the backbone of the user expirence. Without a stable, intuitave os using the phone becomes frustrating.

What's up pinstack? I own a curve 8320 4.5.124. My fav apps are my aol email and my google browser. I like some games like texas holdem and poker tetris. And love my ringtones using GTA 4 ringtone. Also I would want a storm like phone for tmobile not the 8900 garbage. Ok laterz.

    1.I have a pearl 8130 and a curve 8330.
2.I use web browsing more, then IM, then email and 3rd party apps.
3.Fast browsing is a must. And I need to be able to actually use my phone when I get it and not have to go through a trainig course to figure it out.
4.Number one pick is the Storm. Then I might get the curve 2 and maybe the iPhone. Sorry guys its cool, but I'm a loyal bb user.
5.I would say agree. The OS is the main hub of the smartphone. If it doesn't have a good OS, what's the point of bothering with the phone.

What smatphone(s) do you currently own?
    Bold, 8310

Which do you use most? IM, email, 3rd party apps or web browsing?

    email

What features do you require most out of a new smartphone?
push email, fast browser, 3G and wifi

If you had to buy a new smartphone today, what are the top 3 picks that you'd consider?

none. Only the BB bold has 3g and wifi. So i would have to buy the same one. Storm and 8900 if the storm had wifi and the 8900 had 3g.

The OS is the most important aspect of any smartphone? Agree/Disagree and why?

Maybe. All the nice features dont work if the OS is full of bugs.
