    New "Group"

OK, in an effort to help Pinstack and its Android users I've created a group. Android Users Group.
Its simple and not intended to be anymore than a way for Android users to communicate information and provide aide to anyone who may need it.

My first created group, so not sure how one joins it, but its open to Android owners.

Lurkers, get involved. All skill levels welcome, never know how helpful you could be until you try.
It won't be XDA, but I can promise it will be more newb friendly.

Perhaps iPhone users could do the same.

Pin stack used to be plastered with requests for help, of course for blackberry. Times have changed, but I don't believe anyone can find a group of people who are always willing to at least TRY and help everyone regardless of skill level or expirience.

Get involved, not just "one and done", or posting when there is a contest. Add Pin stack to your sig on other boards, post on Facebook.

    Thanks,
    Jay

Well whaddya know. I've been a member here for almost 6 years and I didn't even know about the "groups" feature.

I see some other folks have created their own groups, too.

Did a little group "pruning." There was already an Android Pros group there, by the way.

Not sure what the purpose of the whole "groups" thing is anyway. I think it's more beneficial to post stuff like this in the forums where it's readily available and easier to find. Just sayin'.

As I said before, I've been a member here going on six years and never knew about (or subconsciously ignored) the "groups" feature.

Easy enough Roger. Just thought there'd be a spot where stuff could be low key enough to maybe encourage new members to post without the worries that sometimes go along with being new and unfamiliar with the forum.

You have a point though. Perhaps too hard to locate. Especially if you didn't know about them

Roger, I never knew about the Groups either. Then again, I never looked for them.

The only "group" I ever heard of on PS is group therapy.

Way back when Bell share released beweather Jeremy created the Beta Theaters Group when a lot of us ended up testing multiple apps.

Maybe this wasn't the best idea.

Psychosis Group. Mind Reader Group. Lateral Thinking Group. Synopsis Analysis Group and finally Smartphonetechfruitwindowsrobotics Rehab. That about sums it up. We'll all be recovered.
By the way, well done Jay. Wakey, wakey RogerG. Glenn, Lord Pilsbury of Pinstack, you understand...
