How to make the inbox the default folder on Curve 8350i BES email

We have about five 8350i curves with sprint and we just set them up with BES. When I open the email folder, I have to go to menu - view folder and then select inbox. Is it possible to make the inbox the default folder that opens as soon as you select the email folder?

The inbox should be the default folder. What folder is it defaulting to?

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to change the default for the Messages folder...

Using BES is different than BIS and I am referring to the "email" folder, not "messages". When I select the email folder, it opens with no messages in it. Then when I open the menu and select "view folder", I have an option of all of the folders that are in my outlook on my desktop. Rather than go through the extra steps to get to the outlook inbox, I want to be able to go directly to the "inbox folder".

On your main menu, Messages is the default inbox for BES, so I'm confused as to what email folder you are referring to.

There is a messages folder and then there is a folder that shows the email address. This phone used to use BIS maybe that's why it's different.

The one that shows the email address is definitely the BIS account. If you don't want it there any more, you can delete the service books for it.

Ok. Is there a third party software that will make a mailbox for my BES mail?

You can use this application HERE. I used it for awhile but found it was much simpler just to use the "Messages" inbox instead of separating out my email but to each their own so try it out.
