    Question Just Wondering

Hey, didnt know where to post this, so just posted here.

Anyways, I was just wondering if any of you here have been to this website before, they sell all kinds of electronics, and I was looking to buy a phone from there, but the prices are suspiciously low. I just wanted to know if the site is legit so I can buy something from it.

    Appreciate the help

I have not heard of this site before - that doesn't necessarily mean it's good or bad. My general recommendation though is to use a business that you (or someone) you trust has experience with.

What you're doing is EXACTLY the right thing to do - ask for a reference. Maybe some other user HAS heard of this one or used it and will post their info for you. If you don't get a reference, or better, several, I'd advise doing business with one your know or can get a good reference from - Good luck.

I've never heard of them either, and like jblackfish, that doesn't really mean anything. I just wanted to offer my 1 1/2 cents... I usually use a credit card for things like that so I have some kind of protection. Most credit card companies offer protection against fraudulent sellers. I also have a particular credit card I use for online purchases from companies that I've never heard of, just incase I need to report the card stolen (which I have had to do). Actually that was a case involving Apple (oddly enough a reputable company) - it's a long story. I also wanted to mention Amazon.com which offers very good prices if you're up for an upgrade. I just bought my daughters each a blackberry curve off there for .01, yes that's right, one penny each. That was from Amazon not an amazon seller.

Wow, you aren't kidding about those prices being suspiciously low. Heck I'd pay 240.00 for an unlocked Bold!

Well I emailed the company to ask them, and this is what I asked in the email:

"Hey I am interested in buying a cell phone from your website, but I've never heard of your website and your prices are very cheap which makes me unsure of the legitimacy of your website. I was just wondering where the product will be shipped from if I do order one.

    Thanks"

and this is the reply I got back, do any of you think this is a good enough reply or something:

    "Hello,

We are new Wholesales Company,we sell our product at wholesales price.

We ship out all product from our store at United Kingdom.

Let us know if you will be doing business with us.

    Regards"

That is a pretty short response...they don't really say if they are legit or not.... That's really odd

    Hi there,

I've been lurking for some time and just became a member yesterday because I was wanting to upgrade my Pearl and came here looking for some advice.

I came across this thread and yes, it sure does seem that this is too good to be true, but if someone is brave enough to check this site out, please let us know!

    Thank you,
    Ashleigh

Just for what it's worth - probably nothing - for someone in the UK they DO NOT have command of the "king's English." As far as lat-05-69's comment, it really wouldn't make ANY difference whether they said they were "legit" or not, would it?

Personally, I'd be leary, but I'm pretty picky where I buy electronics from...especially BB's.

Worked another job at a game place. Looking at the console prices I have to say they're not making money from those.
