Question Email/SMS copied into to Calendar

    Hi,

I am looking for an app that when reading an email or an sms will allow one to send/copyit to the calendar so to create an appointment. I am getting tried of some friends with Iphones giving me grief that I take to long with adding Calendar entries.
I do not think that apple iphone should be the only phone with that capability but who knows, maybe they are?

It is with a community like this that things can get done.
Thanks for helping me out and making the BB the best phone out there.

There is a program that allows you to do that but I can't remember the name of it at the moment. I'll search for it in a bit or someone with some app knowledge will come along shortly and tell you I'm sure.

Not sure if this helps you out since it creates a Task when you select an email or text message, but it's called Taskify:

I know you asked for it to go to your calendar, but I haven't heard of such an app yet. So I hope this takes you in the right direction.

I use it all the time and I find it very useful when I just berry-click a message and have it become a task right away.

    Thanks KalebsDad78.

I have done some searching myself but nothing yet -
because the Iphone has this in its OS for free I am not going
to pay to much for it.

Thanks Ivmonkey, but I am looking to use calendar
since tasks are not at the same usability. Google
is pretty good with their apps but tasks are not
there just yet, hoping that somebody in BB sees this
and says it should natively exist in the OS - the Apple
Iphone programmer people are not any smarter then BB
    people,or are they?

I say that not to offend anyone just to make BB
programmers realise this would be a very good function
And we should not be scoffed at by AppLe

Am I missing something? Although your profile does not indicate what you are using - your WAP post indicates the BB 8900 so I am assuming that is the phone you want the app for?
