Which is better, slacker or pandora? I have both on my phone, I like them both, but one has to go. I'm on a pearl and the memory sucks as it is. I don't need a lot of apps slowing me down more than usual.

Gimme your thoughts. One of the two depend on your feedback. Lol

    I love Slacker!
I use it on my PC as well.
I paid for it, and I rarely pay for stuff

Have you used pandora? It seems to me that pandora loads faster. And the radio stations on slacker are harder to set up. Well, not harder but I can make a radio station for Ra on pandora, but I couldn't get slacker to make one.

I had both on my Bold and I choose Pandora. I also use it on my desktop PC as well. For me, Pandora had more of an intuitive feel to it and seem to respond faster with much interruption in the audio stream.

Well I'm only gonna let this go for so long before I choose. Is there a way I can set up a poll?

Yeah, i've tried nobex also. It didn't work out for me. I live in MS and there's not many radio stations that actually work on that one. And I don't like commercial radio. If I could swing my XM on my bb, I would do that and do away with both of these.

I like pandora. The app loads a lot faster also the stations loads faster. The app is easier on the phone then slacker. I had slacker on phpne for while on my curve and eveything time the network from sprint took a bit of a dip it would reset my phone. I haven't the the issue with pandora yet.

Get, Sometimes you have to decide a thing for yourself. In your case, I suggest you listen to one for a week, make a few plus and minus notes and then do the same for the other - then decide which one you like the best. I agree that it's NOT an easy choice but, if you have to get rid of one of them, PICK for yourself. There's no wrong answer. Personally, I have both, use both and love them both - I wasn't able to get rid of either.

A last suggestion would be to look at what else you can get rid of and keep both if you have that much trouble deciding.

I agree, with you on that. And I have, that's my problem. All the extra stuff, I need. And now i've got two radios, I'm leaning towards pandora tho. I'd like to hear some of the bad about both also. Just throwing that in there.

I think the worst thing(s) I've heard about Slacker is that it loads slower than Pandora and it's hard to get started initially. That's not very bad IMO. The cache option of Slacker is one thing that's very nice if you can use it and Pandora doesn't have that. They both allow you to "tailor" the listening to YOUR liking and they're both great programs.

Slacker loads alot faster since I paid for it!
It did open slower on the free version.
    (I'm sure that's intentional)
