    Apps running in background

    Hi,

I've noticed for time now that I have lots of various app and tool running on my BB 8900.

When I try to stop or exit out of these, they're still there when I do a 'switch application'.

    I've got:

    Phone
    Messages
    Home
    Browser

These are the always running which is fine but the these others below are always there also:

    Recall
    Blackberry Messenger
    Google Talk
    Windows Messenger

    And sometimes there's more.

Any ideas how I can stop them running to save battery and processor power?

    Thanks

    Gman,

Phone, messages, home screen, BB messenger and browser will alway run in BG. Any others you should be able to end by bringing them up and pressing menu> "exit" or "close" - good luck.

One way to kill from the background is to uninstall and try running a web based service such as meebo or ebuddy..

You can just log ourvof the messengers you're not using as well when your done. That way they're still on your device when you need them.
