LG Versa Now Available from Verizon Wireless

engadgetmobile: Right on -- well, the predicted -- schedule, LG's unique Versa handset hits Verizon Wireless stores nationwide. We've specced, reviewed, and generally fondled this set enough to give us a pretty warm fuzzy feeling about it and if you've about made up your mind by now, plonk that cash down. Pricing is set at $199 on a two-year, $269 on one-year (both after online $50 rebate), and a whopping $449 if month to month is more your thing.

lg lotus won't connect to bb curve

My wife has a lg lotus. I can pair the lotus to my bb curve and vice versa. The curve is listed as a "trusted device" on the lotus.

I can send via bluetooth to the lotus from a blade and the blackberry, but can't bluetooth from the lotus.

Anyone got any ideas?

for a blackberry to receive something via bluetooth, you have to tell it to "receive via bluetooth" from the media menu...

I found the option you were talking about in "media".

I set my curve up to "receive via bluetooth", then tried to send a picture from the lotus .....same thing. Everything seems to work, then I get a message saying bluetooth failed.

Got anymore ideas?

I think what you said should have worked. Just can't figure out why it doesn't.

Thx

Which blackberry device do you have? Some have a file size restriction. Eg, the 8700g can't accept a file larger than 2.9 mb

How big is the file you're trying to send? I don't think 83xx have size limits of that sort, and is it audio or video? Maybe a format issue? Try a diff size...

Lg kp500

Has anybody tried this phone, aka Cookie? It is a small iPhonish budget device. I bought it just to test it out (as usual lol). Well, it copies the Omnia UI, quite responsive to touch, good 3 MP camera, without a flash, loaded google maps, google mail, Nimbuzz all in one IM, has a lot of games, loaded opera mini also, but the phone's own browser works somewhat like opera mini. The phone is certainly not good enough for web apps. Good music player, text and multimedia messaging acceptably ok. Takes in an 8 gb memory card. Overall, a simple, light phone for kids; I would say.

Anyone own an LG enV series phone?

I'm switching from TMobile. I may be going to Verizon (for financial reasons) next year to get the enV3. My contract expires next year. I was gonna go to Boost and get the Motorola Clutch but it didn't have an instant messaging application.

I've already got good feedback from one friend who is upgrading from the enV2 regarding features, etc on the enV3.

I know all about the recent merger but has anyone in the Houston, TX area had problems with coverage and signal since then?

Anything else I should know about the phone and/or service?

Forgot to mention that I use FaceBook and Twitter (I sometimes check MySpace) so if there is another phone that does this better, any ideas will be considered.
