Yesterday AT&T has introduced the Nokia Surge, a smartphone especially designed for social networking. The Surge is a slider, and sliding it unveils an interesting but somewhat weird QWERTY keyboard that will allow users to type faster when leaving comments on FaceBook, or tweeting on Twitter.

The Nokia Surge features quad-band GPRS/EDGE, 3G, 2-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch QVGA screen, microSD expansion card slot, Stereo Bluetooth, full-HTML browser with Adobe Flash support, Oz Email 2.8, Mail for Exchange 2.9, Symbian OS, and JuiceCaster, an app that provides everything you need for a good social networking life. JuiceCaster gives users the possibility to post messages, updates, photos, and basically everything that is related to FaceBook, Flickr, and Twitter.
