    Question Unknown BlackBerry-SIM Bug...

When moving the SIM card from the Cingular 7290 and putting it into my Unlocked Treo 600, the Phone turns off. Every attempt to turn on the phone results with automatic turn off. I have never seen that in a Treo before. The results are the same after reboots.

The Cingular SIM card was originally purchased with the Motorola SLVR phone, and that same SIM card worked in the Treo 600.

Suspicion: RIM puts proprietary code on their servers that deactivate Treos.

Anyone else experience the same issue?

Thanks for the info. I had the RAZR but I returned it because it kept dropping the network.

The RAZR accepts PUSH data as well as Treo 650.

The Treo 650 is on my agenda for my next purchase.
