I live in Guyana and the carriers are digicel which has the blackbrry service and Gt&t cellink plus which just offer GRPS can I use the latter.Digicel too expensive

However, my provider doesn't offer any BB data connection.

Is there any chance I can use MMS and use wap/html browsers (e.g. Opera mini), like in ordinary phones? I know correct APN and Gateway IP (though the latter setting is not available in BB TCP settings, only APN there)

Donnie, Welcome to the Stacks. For MMS to work you need the service books from the BB network. Without a BB internet feature you cannot get them. No way that i have found, or heard, to get MMS to work without a constant feed to the BB network. Hope it helps.
