Currenly on O2 data only BB Plan (15pcm) with 5MB allowance

Anyone had issues cutting over from an O2 older BB plan to the new unlimited 15pcm O2 Plan?

My contract above is just about up and I wanted to switch over to the new unlimited plan for the same money but they are being really funny. Demanding that I take voice as well as BB data to get it (33.50pcm). But the website states you can it data only if you want.

Looks Voda might be getting my business.

Maybe you should tell them your looking to switch to Voda so they would do something.
But who told you that? Customer support or a retail Rep?
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it

Orange seem to offer some fairly rubbish rates to ordinary consumers.
Reading your post, I may enquire at o2, as I'm paying an extra £14 per month for 5mb of allowance I think.

    Re: O2 BB Unlimited

I switched to BB unlimited data only when my Anytime 20 contract came to an end, o2 staff are clueless when it comes to anything Blackberry and depite the sales guys selling me the Blackberry Curve in store on data only unlimited tariff, they later telephoned me to tell me that I couldn't actually have the package - 02's customer services later sorted it but it took them 4 days to connect me.

Lots of confusion with o2 as to what you actually get for the 'unlimited' package. It's subject to a fair useage policy of less than 75mb per months, go over this 75mb and you'll pay £1 per MB.

o2 customer service regarding Blackberry is dire, good luck
