Thanks Roger! See that is the kind of help I appreciate from Pinstack. A little point in the right direction without bashing the person and talking at them like they are stupid. Friendly and considerate. Thanks again!!! I really appreciate it!!

Can someone give me the model number of the Samsung S4. I was going to try and look up if the model has the lower 700 mhz band that C Spire should be adding to there towers by November FCC deadline.

As I see it C Spire backed off adding the 1700/2100 mhz band and is going with the 700 mhz band.

Well that was a quick disappointment. Thanks for the fast response. According to Samsung spec page it only has LTE band 2/25.

    So no lower 700 band.

Wow! C Spire got the HTC One before Verizon did. That has got to be a first. I just wish they would announce if/when the Moto X will be available. I just do not see them over looking this phone.

As I travel around the southeast I have to say I am experiencing a lot of issues when roaming on 4g. At time data is completely inaccessible. I am also seeing extreme battery usage when roaming on 4g. Not sure of its a radio glitch or what. Guess I may updgrade to the S4 or one from the S3 and see if it's better.

I hope its true that C Spire is going to start to have LTE on AWS band(1700mhz/2100mhz) on its towers this month. This may open up roaming to include T-Mobile's LTE.

They have been using 1700 & 1900 since launch. They have partnered with Sprint for roaming

None of the phones that C Spire sells right now have the LTE AWS band on them. The only LTE band that is used on a C Spire phone now is the 1900 band. There press releases are not matching the facts of the phone specs.

Gotcha I was thinking 1900 was an AWS band

Anybody want to guess what C Spire is up to with the announcement of "it will be the speed of light".

My only guess is that they will start offering Fiber to the House. There was a report this week that the Google fiber idea is picking up. I hope they looked at Google Fiber business model and are going to offer something like it. I known they have fiber in my town in the business district that was put in place from a grant.
