ATTN: Hero users. I recommend doing this immediately. It tripled my battery life. Spread the word.

Thanks Rob, I do love my Tour and hardly ever put it down, I trust the Blackberry OS because it has never given me any problems. I just would hate to miss out on the LATEST GREATEST THING, but there is no harm in staying with what I trust.

At one time? I have no idea. I have had several open at one time though with zero proeblems.

I would imagine I have installed 12-15 or so apps so far.

Did it last night, going to try check today.

Cant hurt thats for sure. A morning of average/fairly heavy using, and my battery was at less than 50% by 9:30 am yesterday. That was from about 6 am coming off a full charge.

I myself have about 20 apps so far. The hero only runs 6 programs at once. When you open #7 the phone closes the less used of the first 6.

It was nothing serious. I was something I was just asking if it might actually work. Somebody posted a way to make the browser able to download very large files.
