P1..that is true...all the locations whom people came into the store to preorder are getting either an email or a phone call for "that" lacation. My store has been doing them all day. Those who preordered online looks like they will get a notifacation from them when its available to go online and order it.

I pre ordered and still haven't received an email! It's bad having to wait but it's worse now knowing that everyone has gotten an email and can order!

Brada....go calibrate your keyboard..makes typing much easier. Go to marketplace and download taskiller, that allowes you to close unwanted things running to sped your phone back up.

I calibrated my keyboard. The portrait qwerty keyboard is amazingly accurate. I will go download taskkiller today. I may trade my tour in for another HERO today!!! Gonna be a tough decision.

Yes, it does. It's amazing that my Hero shipped from Indianapolis at 9pm yesterday, and arrived in Jackson at 9:30am this morning.

So honestly, Tour vs. Hero, options vs. options, what do you guys think that have experienced both phones? As I said before I played with both briefly at a local Sprint store but only for about ten minutes. I have had my Tour since saturday and I love it so far.

Set up a Tour today for an employee and set up my Hero as well. Fun day getting to use both devices. They're both awesome. I have to say I'm very pleased with my decision. I'm still getting familiar with everthing, especially the onscreen keyboard, but I think it will just take time. I've already gotten pretty fast in just one day. All that to say... to each their own, and I like the Hero.

I'm just wondering why I'm still looking at a Hero.

I can answer that for you Walkin... Its prpbably the same reason I did. I know Blackberries. I know the basic OS system and its capabilities. Nothing about has really changed in the last couple years in my opinion. I look at the Hero and see something entirely new and exciting for me. I like to "tinker" with my devices and other than download a new theme every once in a while, Blackberry just does not offer me very much in the "exploration of the unknown." I looked at both devices very hard. Blackberry is great for hardcore business people, but for the casual business user and "tinkerer" such as me, the Hero fits the bill perfectly. But as many people have said, to each their own. Only you know what device is the right for your specific needs and wants...

I have fallen in love with BBerry but I still think the Hero is an exciting phone, I know that everybody that has gotten theirs has been glued to it the whole time.
