    EV

pmarshall, and & Ethan (I think), You're both CSouth guys. The oddest thing happened to me today with my BB curve 8330. I'm in Kosciusko, which is ATT Land. I had EV 3g. This has NEVER happened before. My co worker, same phone, CSouth too, did NOT??I'm running 4.5, he's running 4.2. Didn't get any work done till noon playing with it, then my phone started dropping calls and the person I called did not get my calls. I noticed then that I no longer had EV showing on my screen. Any idea what's up with that? It's stormed all day, but that usually doesn't make the phones, uh, better......What could CSouth do in that area that would give me 3g? On another companies tower? I'm confused, which is nothing new really.

Hey...Csouth has been doing A LOT of maintenance the past week or so. There's no telling what they do or did or what and where ya know. I know we have a lot of ? issues due to the servicing. Your buddy is running 4.2 on a 8330????? Sounds like a 8800 to me.

    3G

I said 4.2, but didn't look. He's had it since October 08, and has never updated the OS like I have, but I'm positive it's a curve 8330. I don't think Csouth has towers there. They're all ATT.

The OS may have something to do with what's picked up. The 8800 (black and no camera) will not pick up 3G due to not being a 3G capable phone. I'd be seriously surprised that csouth doesn't have a tower where att does. Csouth owns almost all the towers in MS.

Friend's phone does have a camera. I'm positive his is a 8330. CS might own most of the towers, but there is no store there, and they do not market there at all. Everyone is ATT. The point is that I have NEVER had EV before in Kosy, or Louisville and I live a mile from the Louisville tower. I was really excited about it, then it was yanked away! I tried a battery pull and it wouldn't come back. Oh, well. 4 hours is more than I've ever had, so I shouldn't complain! I probably do need to clean out the messages and the cache.

Lol..sorry you don't have it anymore...but at least you had a taste of the 3G life for a min. Have you ever called csouth to see when they expect 3G in your area?? I do know that csouth is moving fast to incorporate as much of MS as fast as possible to be 3G capable.

Kinda off topic, but I got to ask... Does CS have an app that will allow me to watch the games on my BB? I hate being stuck at work not being able to watch football. Help!!
