| Is there any hope?
Ok check this out. I have an iPhone 3g[s] with os:3.1.2 baseband 05.11 and bootloader 06.04. What can I do? I jailbroke it with blackra1n. But can I still unlock it? Or is it possible to downgrade the bootloader and the baseband? What are my options here? Thanks alot in advance stackers. One thing for sure is that blackra1n changes your baseband. So if you jailbroke with blackra1n you don't have the ability to unlock it. I reccomend for anyone who hasn't jailbroken and desires to unlock as well as jailbreak to use the new pwnage jailbreak as it doesn't change your baseband and you will be able to both jailbreak and unlock. I'm not sure if you can revert your situation at least not right now. NO you unfortunatly cant downgrade the baseband and a little more bad news is that the Dev Team have said they are not working on an unlock for the new baseband anymore because there are no exploits

So my only choice is to do a factory unlock right? Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16 |

I think you're right. I'm gonna go for it but I gotta leave the iPhone for 5 days Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16 |

If I never had to worry about not having to unlock anymore I would gladly pay $70 bucks for the service, if I was on T-Mobile and wanted an iPhone.
