One of my daughters friends managed to disable my daughters iPod.

Is there a way to re-enable it without restoring? If not, will she lose all her apps and stuff or is that all stored in the cloud backup?

No, it was all disabled. Unusable. Said to connect to iTunes. Everything I read said it had to be restored, which I'm doing right now. Will have to re-jailbreak, too.

Are apps backed up to iCloud?

Okay so I restored and re-jailbroke it. Looks like everything is in the cloud but everything I read said I have to restore from the cloud right at the point of the completed restore. Is that the only way? Do I have to go back and start from scratch again?

Rog, as I said I don't use iCloud so I'm afraid I won't be much help.

Way past that stage, bro. I've restored and re-jailbroke the iPod. Just need to know if I can restore all her stuff from the cloud without having to start all over again.

So before I restored my daughter's iPod, I copied all the pictures and videos she had from the DCIM folder to my laptop. I went to copy them back onto her iPod, but it wouldn't allow me to. Anybody know why or how I can get them back onto her device?
