I love that this has happened, but I would caution against jumping on this bandwagon. I used an iPhone for about a week before returning it and going back to my Pearl. In my humble opinion, if you are going to an iPhone from a BB you are going to find that there is a lack of functionality. I must say that the iPhone is really pretty and the OS X is neat. BB is just the phone for me.

not if you've done console mods before...if a 17 year-old kid can do it...and you only need to solder 2 points...then i think more people are able as well...i will have one by the end of the year that's for sure

never...there are no legal systems in place to stop the tinkering of cell phones...anyone with a good lawyer could get even large corporations like apple and at&t to bend over on this one...cell phones aren't covered under DRM or IRAA

| Re: iphone on T-Mobile!
you can tinker with your phone all you like. you could take a hacksaw and cut it in half, tape it together, and make it work again on an other network..............IF YOU DID IT YOURSELF. however, it is quite another case of copyright infringement if a company sells instructions or software to unlock this phone in the u.s.. http://computerworld.com/action/arti...icleId=9033100 |
