    Cydia Opens Then Crashes....HELP!

Okay, so like the title suggests.
As soon as Cydia opens it crashes, imediately, I've tried a few fixes.....deleted/removing the lists files (except the partial folder) and deleting/removing the sources lists (except for saurik.list) and NOTHING seems to work, Cydia continues to crash.

Anything else I can try before I proceed with the dreadful RESTORE

    Thanks!

    goto:
    /var/lib/apt/lists/
    Then delete the cydia.zodttd-1.com_repo_cydia_dists_stable_main_binary-iphoneos-arm_Packages.
Then reload cydia and install the updates.

srl - That's what I figured, I just CANNOT afford to lose a convo of SMS texs. they're VERY important...they actually have to do with a lawsuit and restoring as a new device will delete those....can't let that happen

I guess I need to backup my SMS messages before DAMN!!!

Take screen shots of them while they are on the phone. Pictures will also help.

The only way you should lose all contacts is if you don't have the phone sync'd with any contact manager. Google, Yahoo, Outlook etc.

Those should all be available to put back on after one click

That's one of the things that has always been attractive for me. If I lost my phone or it burned up in a fire I'm out nothing other than the pain of getting a new one and turning it back on for the first time and syncing it one time. Everything would be back in place losing not one item.

    IDK?
