Well let's hope so. I've been using it on my Torch for awhile with no noticeable issues. Will look forward to the update.
Your welcome Roger! When I hear more I will let you know. Love the Torch so far, especially the new OS, took some getting used to, but I think it's brilliant now.
anyone has a zip file for the "dataless" berries like mine?
You can go to the MobiHand website and follow these instructions.

Read about it here.
I can't get QP to work on my 9700. It keeps giving me an "uncaught exception" error message.

Are you running OS 6, Glenn? Do you have the latest version of QP?
I'm actually running the version posted at the top of the thread and didn't even know they had a new version out.
Apparently, though, they're having issues as described above by Dave with this latest version.
Have you tried uninstalling and resintalling, Glenn?
I tried re-installing QP and went through various steps, it is still removing the corr apps, doesn't seem to affect the operation of the phone though. It also doesn't show up as more memory, the only indication is on the blackberry desktop wanting to install the cor apps. I am currently in comunication with Mike on the Steelthorn site, he is working with their developers on it. Very impressed by the customer support there
Glenn try the latest version of QP, it is a free version, other people seem to have had your problem with vs 5, and if you are not on BES they recommend the following:
1. Go to Options > Applications and highlight QuickPull in the list.
2. Press Menu > "Edit Permissions".
3. Set all three categories to "Deny".
4. Menu > Save.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 but set all permissions to "Allow".
6. Do a real battery pull.
Not sure if this will help.
