I don't want to derail the thread, and as an after thought didn't mean to imply (if it seems I did) that those that aren't believers don't wish him well. Pinstack is diverse and didn't want to be insensitive to anyone.
I know full well everyone is either wishing him well or praying for his recovery. Just wanted to be sure.
No, it's not. That's why she said ASAP. Haven't heard anything since that, so keep the prayers comin'.
Once it's dislodged all they do is track it in the artery, and suck it out...at the best moment.
Jay is right if the docs let it get into the heart, I believe. But he's being very well monitored now. Especially.
Anyway, I'm sure he'll be better tomorrow if they get that damn "alien" !
O Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
our only help in time of need;
Look down from heaven, we humbly beseech thee, behold, visit, and relieve thy sick servant Jeremy, for whom our prayers are desired.
Look upon him with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort him with a sense of thy goodness;
preserve him from the temptation of the enemy;
give him patience under his affliction;
and, in thy good time, restore him to health, and enable him to lead the residue of his life in thy fear, and to thy glory.
I can't sleep. Too many thoughts about this are keeping me awake.
Its a strange thing when a digital life becomes real, sadly usually it involves some kind of strife. A collection of posts that usually brings smiles and nary a thought outside of the forums becomes real, and downright scary in an announcement on that same forum. I'm lying staring at a dark ceiling knowing that avatar and those posts have become very, very real.
thbassman has always been real, honest, helpful, and a all around stand up guy. Just more so.
Appropriate or not, I have to offer a very public and heartfelt prayer. If you can, echo this.
I don't always understand your ways. I don't know why my friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace towards Jeremy . Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him and his family with your presence.
Let him know you are there with him through this difficulty. Give him strength. And may you, through this difficulty, be glorified in his and his families lives.
