    ~~Posted via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~~
Go to your list of aval contacts. Click ur trackwheel and go to request. Then it will ask by email or pin. Select which. Will take you to your add book. Scroll to the top and choose "use once". You will then put the pin in, hit enter and send the request.

When I do that, here is what I can choose from:

    Add Group
    Delete Group
    Rename
    Available
    Edit my Info
    Options

When I go to add a contact it takes me to my regular address book....nothing that says request.

Re: stupid question--I really should know this

I don't want to add them to my regular address book though. And I still see no option to "request" anywhere....

And I did receive a pin message in my messages--the same place I get my emails. That isn't the kind of message I want to send either. I would rather do it through BB Messenger with a request.

I guess you all could just add me so I never have to add anyone :P

Re: stupid question--I really should know this

Just tried to do it by:

    scrolling to my available contacts
    Clicking trackwheel
clicking on "add a contact" (took me to my address book)
    clicked on "use once"
clicked trackwheel to see if it even lets me send a pin that way--it doesn't--email only.

So I have clue how to do it :P I feel like the dork dejour!

Re: stupid question--I really should know this

OK,.....none of my requests are going through, as far as I can tell. They just sit in pending forever.

I click on "add a contact" from messenger, then hit "use once" and click the trackwheel, and there is no option that says "pin" at all. Do I have an older version or something? After I do the "use once" thing, the field to type the pin in says "email", then when I hit enter, it shows the request I am sending, and then when I hit enter again, it says it was sent. Are they trying to send through email or pin??

Also, I can't find the answer to this one anywhere: in my "options" for BB Messenger, should "Allow forwarding of requests" be checked? It wasn't.....I deleted all my pending requests, checked it, and tried sending them again.

So either no one is getting my requests, or no one wants to talk to me--lol.

    Any ideas?

I have 14 people who have not replied to requests myself. I know 3 of them are having BB problems but I don't know about the other 11.

OK....I just got one from you (Erica). Was that in response to mine or just you sending me a request?

    ok Here is a question....

What does it look like when someone accepts your request?

Do you get notification or does it look like they sent you one?
