    Welcome to the stacks limenaj
First for data connection resufed the answer is pretty simple... Do you have any BB data plan on your account ? if not, this is where you prob is.
For the second one, I don't know I never heard of any problem like that maybe someone could help you

BTW I'm from Canada too so if you need anything just pin me up or PM me

    Hope this helps
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it

    Re: New to BB

That could be an antenna problem inside the BB itself....
You could also try to get an OS upgrade to see if that would change anything....
    Hope this helps

BTW As for as I know there is a lot of french people in Sault Ste Marie so if you french I can help you too
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me

    Re: New to BB

    Go to that website:
    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...E4F82F9F00E7D4

    Select BB 7230 handheld software
    Install it on your PC
Make a search on your computer for the file: vendor.xml and delete it
Open Desktop Manager and you shoul be prompt to upgrade

BTW I must tell you two things before: First make a back up of your BB with DM before doing the upgrade and second this is at your own risk

    Hope this helps

    Re: New to BB

I know that's why I told you to delete the vendor.xml.... Rogers never had the 7230 so I could niot had the OS from them...

I update as soon as I found a better OS than mine and never had a problem with an upgrage but I just wanted to make things sure

Sorry, I didn't wanted to scare with that one :P
