Can you take a scren shot and post it here:
It may be a Browser Push alert such as weather.
Welcome to "posting"
Hi, First I love the site, I have been visiting for a while and have gotten tons of information that I did not know about the blackberry. My simple question is this, Is there a place that I can go and see all the symbols that blackberry 8100 would show on the screen. I finally did a reset and restore of my pearl and now i have a symbol that I never saw before. Looks like a globe with a 1 in front of it. I know it's going to be something stupid but I have look everywhere. Thanks
It is indeed a pushed message. They show in your messages/email with a globe icon.
Others have asked the same question. I've had my pearl 2 weeks and wondered the same thing. I couldn't find it in the documentation anywhere either. I found the answer here on the forums.

1smooth, Welcome to PinStack.
That Symbol, as mentioned in the previous posts is a browser push indicator, but it could be an indication of an unopened saved webpage, and it probably wouldn't be in the Let us know if there is anything we can do to help with your BB. Didn't you get a "Getting Started Guide" with you 8100. If not you can download one from the Technical Knowledge Center 8100 Documentation page. On the Cingular 8700 Getting Started Guide the indicators are all shown on the back cover.
Hi 1smooth, welcome to pinstack. I save internet pages from time to time and when I have one unopened, like Rcb mentioned above, it will create a globe with a number next to it. I havent done push content in a while, but that could be the case as mentioned above as well.
I, too, have that globe with a "1" to the left of it, just below the messages envelope icon. My T-Mobile service center agent could not find it in any of their documentation. So, I was delighted when I was referred to this site and found this discussion. I do not have any unread messages and none of them had a globe icon associated with it. If it is a "browser push indicator" or an "unopened saved webpage", how do you deactivate it? I cannot find any options when I am in the browser and click-on the Blackberry button that might address this. Any help would be appreciated.
go into your message folder and click to bring up the menu. scroll down and open 'view folder' and youll see it in the folders in there. i hope
