I think as long as the BB you are trying to pin has a data connection, it will work from Japan to Cali. Keywords are..I think |

The way i understand it is as follows. All BB pin messages are routed through the same set of servers at RIM in Canada. That being said, a pin will go wherever it has to go to get to it's destination as long as the recieving BB is on and connected.
