i'm pretty sure it was a copy/paste job and ... it is three years old txt'ing wasn't as big 3 years ago as it is now even my grandma txt messages

The English language is going to hell in the form of a cell phone.

I personally do not use abbreviations. If I do (which is rare), I will always define the abbreviation in brackets and then use it throughout the message. This way the intended audience will have it clearly defined.
