    Howdie folks,

my name is Konstantin, I'm from Germany, 18 years old (so far) and I'm very interested in Smartphones (who thought so?)

These days I'm owning a Nokia N97 Mini in white - all I can say is, that I'm very unhappy with it: Slow loading times, bad touchscreen, quiet speakers (...)

So now I'm looking for a "newer and better" smartphone. I'm thinking about a Samsung, or HTC.

    Greets.

    Hello and welcome.
Both HTC and Samsung make great phones. Any particular models you like?

    Thanks.

Yes, I was thinking about Samsung Galaxy S II and the HTC Sensation.

Tough call. The Sensation is very similar to my phone. Just has a little less memory, no biggie. I can say its a good choice.
I haven't seen a GS2 here in the states, but on paper its a beast. I'm not a fan of touchwiz, but I'd have to say I wouldn't day no to one. My brother in law recently went to home to Denmark and almost bought one. Wish he had, would've got a chance to play with it.

Oh.. so it's not available in the United States yet?

I'm not sure which of them I like more. I like the Sensation's elegant Chassis, but on the other side the GS2's bigger display.

Too much good stuff on the market..

I believe Verizon may have it here. The date was July 21, but I haven't followed up since I'm on sprint. Super AMOLED screens are nice, had a Nexus S 4g for a week. Can't say I notice the difference between it and my HTC.
HTC makes a solid phone, feels good in the had and (imo) has just enough weight to make you feel like you own a quality phone. The Sensations dual 1.2 will be snappy, and you may like sense 3.0.

Either way, you can't go wrong. Don't mean to push the HTC, just know it better.

    Well, thank you alot.

You helped me with my decision. It'll be definitely either the Sensation, or the GS2.
