I am new to this forum. I work for Cingular, if anybody needs help please let me know.
Funny you should mention that, I need help.
I had to go out to my parents house this morning because they are out of town...Well, while I was there I decided to swap their Cingular SIM card out of their regular Cingular cell phone and put it in my 8700 to see if I could get it to work since it is unlocked.
Well, I put the sim card in, boot up, and it says Enter Pin Code. I have no idea what the PIN code is.
So I put it back in the Cingular phone and it says the same thing, Enter Pin Code and the phone is locked....
Did you ever put a password to the sim card before? If you haven't you should call customer service so they can give you the password.
Dont try to put any pin codes to the sim card, if you try alot of times then the sim card is going to mess up.
I work for a Athorized cingular dealer.
Have you seen my stapler?
