I'm new to the smartphone community, and relatively unfamiliar with the proper lingo, so pardon the inexperience. I'm bound to have some hiccups here.

I've been asked to research how to deliver multiple dynamic content feeds (they're updated/changed daily) to a user's smartphone application thru location-general (ie - they're at home, in the car, at a park) OR location-specific networks. I would imagine this is the difference between 3G and specific wireless networks (at the university library). For the location-specific, this would mean that the content sent to their application could be tagged specifically to the specific wireless network where they're plugged in.

Any starting points, words-of-advice to get me moving in the right direction?

Appreciate all and any insight, positive or negative.
