I have slowed down too and notice a difference in my MPG but, the other drives do get a bit testy at times.

Yesterday the gas station by my house went from $4.19 to $4.25 today.. Everyday it goes up around 5 cents. I'm glad I am home for the summer with the kids.

I feel ya about buying gas or food. But now food is going up quite a bit here in Portland. This BITES! And, worst of all employers are not giving cost of living raises at all..

Everything will be going up, we had better get used to it. Rice is still probably a bargain compared to other foods though.

What.s with the .99 on the end of the prices? Here in the Houston area it's always like $3&9/10 per gallon. Why not just say $4 freakin' dollars??!?!?!

Wow!!! I'll move where any of you are!!! We just topped 4.89 for the cheap stuff here in LA...

    And it's not 0.77 a gallon---its per liter....and there are approx 4 liters per gallon!!! SO...1.95 a liter means nearly 8 a gallon!!!!

I'm in vancouver bc and we're at $1.50 a litre. I work outta my truck and average $30 bucks a DAY on fuel. Those costs partly go to my customers and partly outta my pocket.
