Yes there is always next year and hopefully something is done to make it different. For anyone saying it is so and so's fault I will say this. It is not Tony's fault he is a good QB just young still learning remember this is only his second full season and in each one the Boys have been closer to the big show than they had been in the past few years. Its not T.O's fault he is better now (attitude wise) than he ever was with San Fran and The Eagles. Its not Philips fault he is a great (defensive) coach but is worthless as a head coach. The blame goes to the whole team for not having the heart and will to win when it counted they have some of the best players in football and should have gone at least 13-3 if not 16-0.

It has been great fun Justin thanks for the back and forth. Now I get to look at everything and pick a team for the playoffs. No one can say I didn't and don't still back My Boys 100%. Good luck to everyone who's team made it. And as always GO COWBOYS!! Sorry had to one last time till next year. It's been a blast. Bowl games firing up. Go Texas,OU,KU and Texas Tech!! Happy New Year to everyone.

One year, a team goes 16-0 and the next a team goes 0-16!
That's not crazy!! My Dolphins deserved it!!!! They played ball, no prima-dona quaterback syndrome, no player to player jealousy syndrome, just went and played some football! Football is not a soap opera!! Its FOOTBALLL!!!!!!!!! JUST PLAY!!!
LOL!!!!Or stay at home and watch the playoffs!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!!! Now all those haters are eating thier words!!!!! Oh, yeah,,and where are the Patriots???? LOL!!

You can blame the coaching all you want, but they aren't the ones executing on the field...turnovers will kill you everytime! Romo is outrageous when it comes to interceptions and ball security, but what do you expect from someone who idolizes Favre, whom also is an expert at giving up the ball. The QB is the leader of the team, and IMO, how this leader performs will affect the entire team and outcome...and as we all saw this year, the outcome was on par with turning the ball over all season long. Honestly, we need a QB change, IMO, Romo has peaked!

can i just say that i am IN a deep depression from yesterday's game

    from the dallas morning news
The 38-point loss was not only the franchise's worst in 20 years, it was a stinging slap to the face that served as a reminder of everything the Cowboys weren't in 2008.

I agree with you on the fact that the QB is the leader of the guys on the field.... I think we've gotten the most outta Romo.... As far as not blaming the coach.. I agree with Justin. Wade philips should go back to being the defensive coordinator, somewhere else, cause he sucks as a head coach.. He looks like he lost his binky sometimes when you see him on the sidelines.. He shows no heart, no emotion... You think the Tuna woulda put up with the sloppy play yesterday? Hell no! He would be in players assess !!! I'm sorry, the heart and will to win stems from the leader.. That leader being the head coach.. Wade philips is no born leader, I'm sorry... It is what it is.... But I guess, per Jerry Jones, we got another season ahead of good ol Wade.... Boy, I cant wait...

I don't recall the Cowboy's being any better at all with Parcells as the head coach all he did was bring a washed up Drew Bledsoe in and never lead them any further than Philips has. I am not defending Philips because he needs to go back to what he knows Def. Cord. Dallas needs to go in a new direction and stop going back to this coach or that because they USED to be good. Maybe a new face or a Rookie coach who will be fired up and ready. But knowing Jones it will be one of the three fired today...lol. If he cans Philips which he should. I haven't agreed with his picks much since the 90's.

I agree, to a certain point, but, the Tuna was a beter coach than wade.. But you heard Jerry. He's not changing coaches.. So, like I said, another year of watching wade stand in the sidelines with the look like someone stole his lunch money... I agrree, we need some new young blood at headcoach, someone with fire !!!

Lets just say you think more of the tuna than I do...He's a good coach but over rated IMO, and I wasn't sad to see him go...what has he done since winning the SB with NYG? Not much really, and thats been a long time ago...Wade may not be the best head coach, but too lay most of the blame on him is absurd...try Jerry Jones whom after last season, paid garrett something eqiuvalent to head coaching salary to keep him as the OC, but in reality, everyone knew why he paid him that much to keep him...he was being groomed to be the next HC...you don't think an event like that affects the current HC and the players?! ...that pretty much made Wade a lame duck HC...and who the heck pays any attention to someone whos days are numbered? Not very many!

You always hear from players and some fans "you can't blame the coach, he didn't miss a tackle or drop a pass ect" but ya know what, it is all the coaches fault, its his job to make sure they do those things.and when they don't guess what, time for a new head coach. Yea players make the mistakes but the coach has to disicpline the players to not make those mistakes. Regardless of what anyone thinks crap rolls down hill and the coach is always at the bottom of that hill. Do I think that's fair, not really, but that's reality. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
