Finding People To Capture 60-Second Videos With iPhones

I'd like to pay some people to capture 60-second videos of people in thier (usa) community using thier smartphones. Would the buy/sell/trade forum section be the place to post this? Or are their other forums/sites that you can suggest where I can post this for people who own smartphones?

I'm going to move this to our networking thread, then maybe you can explain a little more about what you're looking for here.

To reply to the replies, it's not fishy and it doesn't "involve holding the phone...etc."

It's about capturing working people in the community.

Still not enough info. What's the plan with the videos? Why pay folks instead of simply taking a long walk with your device?
Besides aren't there issues here? If I film someone working then get paid for said film, don't I need the subjects permission?

No offense meant at all, but a minimalist posting requesting videos for a fee IS fishy if no real details are given. To me it presents privacy issues (who expects to be videoed while working besides media, sports, and porn stars?),

If there are more details, share. I'm sure we will be a little more receptive. Until then prepare to be ignored or have funny comments posted.

The reason this is a "minimalist posting" is because, as you can read in my initial posting, I was just trying to find out if this is the correct place to post. Looking for working people describing, in a short clip, who they are & what they do, essentially, via smartphone, webcam or vidcam. No elaborate production required, simply 'reality' footage, in their place of business, on the street, or at an event, etc. When you're going from place to place in your normal week, you'll probably find that these types of subjects are all around you.
It's fairly easy work, and can be a great way to meet people (or a future employer, for someone who's looking for a job). If you're interested, I'd be glad to answer any additional questions, regarding pay and other specifics, via private message. Thanks.

Actually, we'd prefer you keep it here in the thread, Chris. Not really sure where this should be posted but here is fine for now.

Would also appreciate you describing the purpose of this whole exercise and what you will then do with the videos.

Wow guy, you just aren't that forthcoming with info, and that just makes my fishy meter go off the charts.

Maybe you've got good intentions, but I'm going to decline.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply.
I earn income reselling video footage. Why is that fishy?
Photographers take pictures all the time and resell the images.
I see no reason to explain on a forum all the details of how I earn income,
that to me would just bring alot of competition. Who in business wants more competition?
I'm offering to pay people for assisting me. People need work, I thought there might be people here who would be interested in doing something enjoyable and earn income at the same time. They capture short footage, I buy it from them. Simple. I understand there's so much garbage on the internet that anything innovate nows seems suspicious. Thanks for your time.
