You know Dave, a good walk with the wife is good, but its slow, but it helps. Unless she's a good and fast walker. It's very pleasant.
What we need at high levels is to burn sugar. So the trick, or my trick, was to do a minimum of a 30 minutes vigorous walk, and now I've gone to an hour and 15 minutes. I take a break of 5 minutes about halfway.
But more than the time, it's this: at the beginning I tracked myself at about 4,5kms hour according to the Tracks app on the Droid (smartphones are useful right?) Now I average 7,7kms an hour for the full hour. That's the ticket...
With the teas you mention, no sugar is needed and I find them naturally sweet already, especially natural chamomile. The green tea, piping hot, before bed time is a saviour for high cholestrol.
Well I had a guy interested in selling me his HTC One X and for a mere 20 Euros difference in the trade with my NOTE (I had to pay him) I passed it up. And still told him to go to a place with a bucket water in his hand.
Now ordinarily, I wouldn't pass that one up. But ornery, I did.
I blame nicotine deficiency...
