my bb is locked, turning on and off with the sand clock.
pulled out battery, does not help.
trie alt+cap+del, does not help.

Afraid the do the hard reset in the back and loose my data since my data are not backed up.

question: does the hard set with the pen pin button in the back wipe out your data or not? some say yes, some no, but dont want to do it cuase cannot afford to loose data...

How long does it stay on? Are you able to plug it into a PC and connect via DM? If yes, then I'd do a backup and a fresh install of the OS. Otherwise, follow the guide here.
