    if the person is on your BB Messenger buddy list, just scroll to the name, click on it and it will open a new screen that you can start chatting in.

    I understand that but I click on their pin and the only option I get is to add to address book, and not the BB contact list.

    Follow these instructions for adding a PIN, sounds like you did it incorrectly:

    * On the contact list main screen, press the menu key
    * Scroll down and select Add a Contact...
    * At the very top of the Select Address screen, scroll up to Use Once. DO NOT SELECT THIS OPTION. While Use Once is highlighted, press the menu button.
    * Scroll down to Request by PIN... and select.
    * Enter PIN
    * Select OK

    I agree Brooke. I finally got in the habit of putting PIN's in my address book, so if I ever have to readd people, or resend a request to someone, I don't have to type in their PIN. I lost count of how many times that's come in handy.

    ^ Hey that's a really good idea. I should have thought of that before I lost all my PIN contacts last week.

    LOL.

    I wish you could see the PIN field in Outlook though. I'm sure there is a way to map it, but I've never taken the time to figure it out.

    I do the same thing, and add a group called "pinstack" then put those under that group

    Re: BB messenger help!

    Hello everyone,

    Another question on BB messenger! I would like to copy a historic of a conversation through BB messenger. So I clicked "copy historic" from the menu, and after, got the message "copied to PRESSE-PAPIER (sorry for the French name but I have the French version as I am from Quebec and don't know what the English equivalent would be). So, when copied there, where can I recuperate this conversation from?

    Thanks!!!

    Since I don't know French, I'm going to guess it copied it to the clipboard? Try composing a new email to your self, then in the body, click and see if Paste is an option.

    Thanks MotoUp!

    By any chance, would you know if we can erase some part of conversations in BB messenger, but not erasing the whole conversation, keeping a few replies?

    There is not that much information on how to use BB messenger. I guess we have to learn by experience.

    Bye!
