If you are using a BB that is part of a corporate plan using an enterprise server, do emails addressed to PINs still end up in the corporate server, or are they more "private"?

BES is LESS private as far as PIN messages... they all end up on the server. However, more secure/private as far and no one else BUT the BES server admin will have access to your private data. Are PINs global? If I am sending to a friend's PIN, does it matter whether the friend's BlackBerry is around the corner from me, or on the other side of the world?

I am very confused about the blackberry messenger, only blackberry users can use this right? I've tried to add a friend using her email, and she received the request but there was no link, and is it anything like using aim or yahoo???? Also how do you get your own pin? or is it your email? Thanks, MaryJo |

I'm an experienced phone freak and was popular for pimping most symbian phones as well as Treos and PDAs. My entrance into the BB world has found me yet again pimping! my pin is 20577C82 if you care to know the hows and wheres to get your phone pimped to the core. To answer your question, since Pins are sent via GPRS via the servers of BB, you will be required to have net service before you can send PIN messages. Last edited by SEGA; 06-23-2007 at 05:23 AM. |
