    Smile 8100 Newbie having issues

    i recently (3 days ago) got a 8100 upgraged from 8700. i am currently having issues synchronizing my contacts from outlook 2003 to my blackberry.
    device manager connects and the software connects the device it says it synchronizing but when its finished there are still no contacts.

    any ideas would be appreciated.

    sphinchliffe, Welcome to PinStack.

    When you set up your Sync Setting for Contacts, which of the three options did you use, Import, Export, or Sync? If you didn't set it, make sure it is on sync.

    Tell us if this works or not. And let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with your BB.

    sorry tried that, what about if i selected the internet service on the install not the enterprise install

    Which did you select when you installed it, Internet or Enterprise? Without being on a BIS you should have selected Internet. Do you have you contacts in Outlook in subfolders? Or are they all in the main Contact list?

    i selected enterprise but have un installed as i lost all my contacts and emails when i ran it but when i installed the internet version it did the same. contacts are in personal folders/contacts

    Are you loosing your contacts from your BB and not your Outlook? Are they going to your Outlook Contacts or not? I'm lost as to what to say. Do you have any filters set up in your Sync Settings for Contacts?
