    Windows Mobile: Mobile Manager for Netflix

    Advertisement Microsoft has released a free Windows Mobile application for users of Netflix's online video streaming service. The "Mobile Manager for Netflix" lets users manage their instant streaming and DVD queues using a smartphone, and also permits viewing trailers, the company says.

    Microsoft entered the picture last November, when it added support for Netflix streaming to its Xbox 360 gaming console. Since that time, Xbox users have watched more than 1.5 billion minutes of streamed movies and TV shows, Netflix announced earlier this week.

    At last month's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's EDD (entertainment and devices) division, took the stage to show off Xbox video streaming. As part of that demo, he demonstrated an Windows Mobile application that would let users manage their Netflix queues wirelessly.

    Wow I saw when Netflix came out with streaming for X Box Live but this is cool.

    Absolutely fantastic. A few years from now we'll look back on what our handsets were capable of right now and shake our heads in disbelief! There's a tremendous amount of talent being devoted to the development of features and capabilities in mobile devices
