its connected by four tabs when i took mine off it did snap off be careful tho and it does void waranty if you open up your BB.

I just wanted to know what kind of sandpaper I need to buy. Where do I get a hobby knife because I don't have any hobby stores near me and do I buy the spray paint at like an auto zone. I think I am going to try doing this myself as well.

I would love some of the Cadillac "Diamond White" paint, but it costs a freaking fortune. Its a couple hundred a gallon from what I heard. Nothing compared to the custom UV resistant clear coat that covers the carbon fiber roof on the new 08 Corvette ZR1 - $20k a gallon.
