I'm going to paint my 8320 once I decide on a color, and get all the needed tools and another housing.
Once I start I will post updates.

I recommend taping up the screen and sensitive parts that you will NOT be sanding. Then take a medium grit sand paper and rub it over the pain, to strip down the glossiness. This will allow the spray paint/primer to stick better.

How many screws did you have to remove - I just popped off the back and only see 2 are there more, if so where are they located...I'm nervous about popping this apart. Thanks.

It's not the PJ's I am worried about...its how comfortable she looks with the hobby knife in her hand !

Good work...I have been thinking about airbushing mine for sometime now...

using a rough sand paper like that caused imperfections in the finish...you should have gone with at least a 400grit paper, followed up by rubbing it down with acetoner to smooth and clean it. if you put more than one coat of paint on it, you should also rub it with acetoner (very lightly) between coats to get out any bubbles or bumps. then apply your clear coat, but give it time to dry between coats.

That's funny, my co-worker and I did the exact same. They have this floresent paint they sell at ace, orange, blue (super wicked the color we chose), a yellow, green and a pink, loooooooooook waaaaaaaaay dope on the CB. I have videos of it, no pictures though. nice work, you get 10 pts.
